POST 11 >> ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES
My experience was good, but difficult. I think I dont know a lot of words in english, especially connecting words, and this was a challenge for me. Many times I want write anything but I don't know how, so I look for the easiest words I can use to express it.
The classes in the university were not many, the process was interrupted by the university mobilization, and I feel that I was left a bit in the middle, but its okay, there are some very important issues to resolve in the institution. I still have the next semester to complete the process
On the other hand, I like blogging so much, is very entertaining and I enjoy read the other blogs too. I feel like this has helped me in my english, is a challenge, and I use a lot Wordreference, but is okay haha I hope at some point I can write something as easy as when I do it in Spanish
It's still costing me a lot, write in english but specially the pronunciation, but soon I will take private lessons, so I hope to continue improving. With some piano classmates, we agreed to hire an English teacher to teach us all, we are 8 people and she makes us a special price, she only charges us 20,000CLP per month! I think it's a good opportunity to learn more.
Meanwhile, I started to watch some movies in English with subtitles, other times I play with my boyfriend to talk to us "only in English", it's very funny, but it also helps us think about the words to use and all that, it's a fun way to practice, and sometimes I also use duolingo, I don't know if that app really works for anything, but the truth is that it entertains me to use it, especially the one that completes the stories haha
I hope in the future to achieve the challenges of speaking English and being able to communicate with native speakers. One of my life goals is to perfect my music in the United States, and of course I need to know how to speak English, I hope that when that time comes I will be ready.
I use a lot Wordreference too hahaha
